Christine BAKER Twin Creeks Restoration acrylic on canvas 90 x 90 cm On a recent visit to Twin Creeks I noticed a distinct contrast between the weed areas and the natural vegetation. Past agricultural clearing has resulted in fragmentation of the landscape leading to the isolation of many species. Reclaimed parcels of land have created a wildlife corridor between the Porongurup and Stirling Ranges. This action provides safe refuge for many flora and fauna species, some rare and endangered. |
