It occurred to me that when you look at an archive of any kind, it is only ever a filed segment of the original. No documentation can fully capture the feelings, experiences or authenticity of the original. In this piece, I’ve taken the image of one of my paintings and archived it into segments that have been digitally enhanced. I’ve played with the shapes, colours and lines and their interactions. The original is lost in this process and new narrative is emerging.
