Toxic Cloud – Acid Rain
glass bottle, Albany tap water, aluminium, drawing on paper
240 x 110 x 30 cm
In large part our world is sculpted through the action of water passing over the land. In our times that action has been intensified through rain-bearing clouds which gather sulphides, pollution from industrialisation and volcanic action and which manifests as acid rain. These toxic emissaries bring destruction and widespread, rapid change to a delicately balanced eco system.
